The second week of December we travelled to Stuttgart (Germany) to meet up with other teachers from Poland, Latvia, Norway, Britain and Germany itself. The aim of this meeting was to prepare a project in which all of our respective students can work together, communicating between their schools, discussing job opportunities, entrepreneurship, and leadership around Europe.
It was a fantastic opportunity to expand our school´s network and make some great contacts with like-minded teachers.

DECEMBER 2009:Evaluation by students
It's not an easy task, not for them nor for us. However being able to evaluate other people work means they are aware of it, conscious. Their opinion can help us improve our work, and broaden their knowledge at the same time.

OCTOBER: 2009 English assistant
We have recently welcomed a new addition to our school. Michael has joined us from America and is working as an assistant in our secondary school. Every thursday we also have the pleasure of his company. Michael´s expertise lie in business and he is therefore proving a great help in our classrooms here at Zubiri Manteo. He´s doing a project with our multilingual students at the moment, researching different industry within the Basque Country, and comparing it to the industry in the rest of Europe as well as the United States.
